Quick answer

Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your palm, below the knuckles and excluding the thumb. A 9 in (23 cm) hand is a men's medium glove. For bangles, measure around the knuckles with the thumb tucked in.

Hand circumference (gloves)

  1. Wrap the tape around the palm below the knuckles.
  2. Keep the thumb out.
  3. Read the measurement in inches or cm.

Hand length (golf gloves)

  1. Measure from the wrist crease to the middle fingertip.

Bangle size

  1. Fold the thumb across the palm.
  2. Measure around the widest part of the hand.
  3. Divide by 3.14 to get the diameter.
